But I have finished my year without any increasement to be K100.00 on my work. Plus I do not know whether you are looking for a house for me. Because I don't stay well to my Brother.

Some are geting K 112, K114 and so on, what about me?

And madam during knight time there are many things to fight with . But I am getting few money like those who work during daylight. Because me, you don't pay ration many, house allowance, so please help me this salary par month K100.

And here madam some are given many things during Christmas time, I don't know why? May be you don't like me just why you don't give me. If you still remember when you was to your country when you come back. Some friends you bring them many many things, watch, camera, radio, and other things. But me, not even one to be given, why? That it means you don't like me. But is okey.

As long as I worked for three years and 9 months to you, do you tell me that this is the amount. This amount is for somebody who works for I year only, as you did to Aaron. Well, I didn't work I year. And I should be now paid house allowance without any problems. Quite alright you know the reason why I am saying that. For sure it is not me who desired to stop the work. So I want all my money for 3 years and failure to that we are going to solve the matter through the Labour Off ice.

Now I am planning to come again for money remaining. You know for sure that the money you gave me is not the amount I am supposed to be paid after three years. I would not like you to touch the Labour Office as long as you solve the matters accordingly. But if tomorrow I am touching Labour Office in order for me to be satisfied on my money. Lastly, I am checking on you this afternoon.

The house boy and the watchman.

Sir, I beg you to listen carefully. There was noise on Sunday knight between watchman and the house boy.

This noise comes from the house boy. Because on Sunday knight the house boy comes with two (2) girls smelling beer and the house boy also. Watchman and house boy do not understand each other because of the house boy coming drunk plus girls.

We tried to ask the house boy for the girls coming to sleeping in your house , he became annoyed to the watchman. So we just left him saying: “ me I know what I am doing”. And from there when he enter through the gate instead of telling the watchman for his visitors, he just enter through the house with the two girls, cooking (shima) food and from there, they slept in your house , the watchman watching the whole knight.

See now, watchman don't know anything in your house, what if something missing inside, what will happen to as? Because watchman don't know anything in your house, we do not enter in your house; see again, we come each evening time and morning time we go. So now we left them in your house we don't know what was happening

Don't blame the watchman if you find something wrong, And the boss you left at the house , the house boy did not know that, he was in because of beer. I think the boss you left, he can help me some of this promblems we had on Sunday knight. So the house boy says he gets permission from the boss you left ,your friend on the east side I don't know because he didn't tell of the visitors of the knight.

I don't accept this said James Musaka. Because you said that we must open our ears and eyes to see what is happening.

So this thing in my own opinion is wrong, why don't you tell as that, there will be some visitors coming in your house during knights.

Me I do not like drinking beer because of not understand each other. See now you, you was out, how to ask any body who comes in your yard not to enter as if its your house. I mean your house boy to what the did, he is wrong excellent. Let me know more from you when coming.

Finias.

Finias refused tea for the days being absent. Because Aaron prepare for him. He was preparing tea while James didn't refuse to give him. So Finias didn't take anything on your absent because of Aaron.

Aaron didn't follow the rules you wrote (confused man). Finias said, Aaron is a satana (devil). He said I do not want Aaron to prepare tea for me. Said Finias.

James to add.

Sure madam Aaron is wrong, he is not supposed to prepare tea for Finias as you said in your letter. Because when you go, you said that : James prepare tea for Finias. But I am very suprised to see that Aaron prepare for Finias. And Finias refused to drink it good or not.

And me it is difficult to stay inside without anything to eat. But Aaron to what he does is not good. But him nobody refused him to eat. How comes me not to eat anything?

Because I can't go home during the knight to eat left the house alone (no). Sure only tea is difficult to drink it.

So please forgive me to sleep in the house when not present. Because one day you will find somebody is beaten. For this not to happen, let him enjoy in the house, instead of enjoy. Becaue I do not bother Aaron.

Again Aaron refused to bring the keys to me when he knock off at 17 hrs what? And he left the dog outside, why? Had I find a door open why? What does it mean ; But I told you fast time not me to be together when you are out. But anyway that is your own kindness. Working is okey.

I will be in if Aaron is not around, if not I refused now.

Knight watchman and cook.

PROBLEMS SINCE YOU LEFT US.

Boss: There was noise on 4/7183. This noise comes from cook, because cook comes with a girl or woman, because nobody knows whether this is a girl or a woman. That was around 18-2hrs.

Then knight watchman starting asking some questions both of them Then cook become annoyed and throw the keys to him outside and let him to lock the house and lightning, the lights of outside. When watchman failed to control him, he runs to James when James arrives, I found the noise plus woman (girl) and the keys outside, I tried to ask both of them, I found that cook is wrong.

How comes cook to come with a girl while yau tell us not anybody to come with a girl to sleep in your house. He is wrong Excellent.

And when I had failed to control him I take the whole keys : because he opens the doors and go plus the lights was off, of out side (3 lights).

So me, I take the keys and lock the house plus lighting.

He didn't even sleep that day watchman was alone the whole knight.

The time he left the house was around 18-45 hrs. But my boss, I am prohibited to enter in your houuse, that day, was in your house, looking the lights (switches) of outside. Then after lighting, I lock the house and keep the keys.

Then I tell your neighbour the whole promblems. Then, they said that I must keep the keys. Then I keep it. Then when I workup in the morning I go to check and lock the house plus switch off the lights.

But my boss I am not allowed to enter in your house. But forgive me for being in your house. And we are not happy with your cook ti what he does, left the house open and go. This means he don't care about your house keep well your cook if you want your property to be in good condition. If you get anything wrong don't blem anybody, see your cook.

And the thing I have forgotten is this : After discuss the whole promblems to your neighbour, I give the keys to him, because they find that he is wrong. So now everybody is waiting you to soive the whole of promblems.

Questions to ask hîm:

1 .Did you left the house open on 4/21/83 during knight time around hours.?

2. What makes you to left left the house open and go? Because of coming with a girl.

3. What time did you left the house open? (18:45 hrs).

4. Did you throw the keys to the watchman why? Annoyed of her girl friend being insuit.

5. Did watchman take the keys when you throw to him? No. What did he do? He runs to James.

6. Are you allowed to come with a girl when not present. No. Why?

7. Did you work the following day ? yes that was on 5th Julv 198 .

8. Where did you found the keys ? From James that I had given him after discuss the matter.

Cook didn't work from 17hrs the whole knight. Nobody knows where he was too. >We are tired of him. He came the following day he arrive around 14 hours 33mts this is the following day.

And on 30th july 1983 also didn't work from 14hrs to 15hrs33hours nobody knows for his journey

But your cook is a trouble some boy (man) that I have not seen since I was born.

by Mrs Little and James (overtime).

16th July 1983 cook did not work from 14 hours to 18hrs. Watchman was alone (James) overtime.

18 July 1983 cook again come with a girl refused by me Finias around 18 hrs 15mts.

29 July 1983, cook didn't work from 17hrs the whole knight. He came back to work on 30th July 1983, didn't work. From 14hrs to 15hrs33mts (alone James), overtime.

On l2th July 1983 thieves came during knight time (6) around

I am very happy to have a chance of writting a few words to you

Madam please, I beg you to give me some money for my farm because of the ruin which is started and go to the house. I want the money to be on hand before it is too late.

If you refuse it to give me the money, well things will be not going urgent as my brother said I room in Kabwe.

See now as long as I give him the money that should be brought one cattle for me to prepare of my farm. As long as I get the money I can soive it myself with my brother then you wili be informed later. Again see now the money that I left to give him my brother for buying cattle is now finished. I am supposed to get the money and go to Kabwe before it's too late.

I beg you to give me please K25 for self and lbag of meal meal (in this amount I can buy it).

I all things is being soived by you I will be happy.

Letter to headman to obtain a piece of land by Ackim's brother.

We want headman to give us a place to stay and field.

But he want again to help him. It is difficult, I can't manage. I have to think this before I loose money adding money is from helper Annika I can" give somebody . I am poorman.

At first head man say bring roof of house here but when I came on Tuesday he change and saying house if for his daughter from there I say show me the field, he says I go to show your field tomorrow because I don't feel better.

On wensday he say build that hoose then I will show your field and he adding say I want a a good guys who can help me to cultivate my field the headman toid me then another man said I don't want such him because he don't want to help me.

Now how can I build the house before I didn't see my field and adding things to said I want a good guy who can help me.
