Testing5
The observer

When I run these tests on students, usually I know within 15 minutes what is going to happen to them during the year.

There is nothing special with that test

You can use any test.

When you are an observer, you have to on on the alert all the time, at the most you manage two hours, then you are dead.

Up to giving the task, things are nearly O.K.

I say nearly OK, because in the group you always have participants who are reluctant participants and drag their feet.

The motivations given are :

I do not have time for that kind of nonsense

Psychology is bullshit.

Me? share my time with these idiots?

Fear of flying, if I play the game, they will know about my inside.

Look, here I am a participant, but in my Office I am a feared boss and here you want me to play children's game?

Look, I do this because I was told, but who is taking care of the Office?

I cannot stand these idiots!

The draggers are also expects are denial.

So, let us start game one

As observer, you check how the participants inter-react.

One does not shuffle his cards until he has seen the others do it.

One does not select a card until another one has done it

One selects a card, changes his mind, redoes it.

But, of all these participants, the most interesting one is the one that is asking for additional guidance, but he calls it information.

You mostly will have a participant who claims that cards are missing in his set.

Rapidly tension is setting in, as one, two participants have made their choice.

The ones who have made their choice get restless and do not know what they are legally allowed to do. The ones that have not made their choice are getting irritated at being behind.

It can so so far that you get your first nervous break-down already at this early stage ; you will get the break-down within coming days, but that early, it might be difficult to handle.
